Meet the Band...
Rob Fahn, Doug Farnsworth and Steve Athanail


An actor and performer in his own right, Rob Fahn has brought to life many of the most popular leading characters in musical theater. Working with Narrows Community Theater, Rockaway Theater Company, Sts. Simon and Jude to name a few. Favorite roles are Daddy Warbucks in ANNIE, Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Mr. Vandergelder in HELLO DOLLY! and Nathan Detroit in GUYS AND DOLLS. Rob also plays in his band "Beefcake."	An accomplished studio musician as well as a former member of the 26th Army Band of New York City, Doug Farnsworth has played bass in New York City since 1989. Doug has worked with numerous theatre and musical organizations including the FDR High School Theatre Guild, St. Agnathius Theatre Guild, Jeff Samaha Ensemble and Orchestra, Rockaway Theater Company, St. John’s University, among others.	Steve Athanail is a board certified family physician and has been in private practice in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn for over 20 years. His love affair with the guitar goes back considerably longer than that. The lack of formal training hasn’t discouraged his collaboration with some very fine musicians performing a variety of musical styles. He is particularly excited about being the most recent addition to The Rhapsody Players in 2008.
